The history of
GUSSFIX-HAF®
The idea to develop GUSSFIX-HAF® came from the necessity to repair damaged Formula 1 race tracks as soon as possible.
Moreover, it was supposed to be possible to apply heavy stress to the repaired area immediately after the repair work was finished. We finally managed to develop a non-porous, thermo-plastic material for quick and long-lasting repair which fulfils the above referenced requirements and is 100% solvent-free.
It is delivered in granulate form!
Specialties of
GUSSFIX-HAF®
GUSSFIX-HAF® is a patented repair material granulate form.
GUSSFIX-HAF® is made of mastic asphalt! This creates a sustainable and long-term repair solution compared to cold asphalt products.
GUSSFIX-HAF® is 100 % solvent-free!
GUSSFIX-HAF® complies with the current German TL Asphalt-StB guidelines.
GUSSFIX-HAF® corresponds to the instructions for repair asphalt to remove damaged areas (HMG according to H RepA).
GUSSFIX-HAF® can be exposed to traffic approx. 10-20 minutes after installation, depending on installation method and layer.
GUSSFIX-HAF® can be levelled to the surrounding areas by sanding it so that the previous damage is hardly recognizable after repair.
GUSSFIX-HAF® is melted evenly in layers in the dry and dust-free damaged area using a propane gas burner or filled into the damaged area ready-melted using a suitable asphalt cooker. If necessary, the material can be re-compacted with a hand tamper.
